She stands a realistic chance of winning the competition.
On Tuesday 23 April 2019, Irene will be sworn in as a nominated member of Nyamira County Assembly.
In her community outreach time, she mentors young men and women, navigating lived experiences such as teenage pregnancy prevention measures, financial literacy, responsible living and etiquette. As a result of her mentoring expererience, she as a result of the many lessons learnt, aims to initiate the Centre of Excellency in her County to ensure long term programmes thrive in an environment of active citizen participation and therefore are sustainable and ‘’owned” by all role players – especially the communities they serve.
Irene’s mental motivation quote is “The glass is always half full, never half empty”.
