Africa’s largest political party affiliation, the Africa Liberal Network, is now seeking to employ a dynamic individual for the position of Coordinator.

After almost two years as ALN Coordinator, Luke Akal is moving to a new role at the City of Johannesburg’s DA Caucus. Luke led many firsts for the network, including the publication of a best practice guide on election campaign management and gender-focused programmes to improve political representation of women. The network now consists of 45 member parties, with several in national or regional government, from over 30 countries. The recent Nairobi Declaration on Prevention and Elimination of Violence against Women is another milestone for the network, further cementing its place as the leading voice of liberalism on the continent.

The Coordinator position requires exceptional interest in African politics, liberalism, and a strong skillset in project management with a diverse array of stakeholders.
